New VMware vCentre Site Recovery Manager 4 provides protection with optimised control, expanded storage support and ability to failover multiple sites to one

VMware today announced the availability of vCentre Site Recovery Manager (SRM) 4, a leading solution automated, reliable and affordable disaster recovery. Part of the vCentre Product Family, SRM 4 provides automated disaster recovery for virtual environments and now features added support for Network File System (NFS) based storage replication, compatibility with vSphere 4 and simplified “many-to-one” failover using shared recovery sites.

IT services are under constant threat of disruption from; security breaches, human or process errors, technology failures and natural disasters.
